To engage external therapist support at Bligh Park Public School - Parents and Therapists must read the following 2 documents:

This document outlines the aim of working together to enhance individual student learning. It defines the roles and responsibilities of our staff, parents, carers and therapists whilst engaged in the provision of therapy support.

Responsibilities for Therapists attending Bligh Park Public School:-

1. Declaration for Child Related Work - Complete Form (working with children check) or provide Department of Education number

2. Proof of Identity please bring on first visit 

3. Code of Conduct policy - Please read

4. Controversial issues in schools policies and procedures - Please read

5. Child Protection Policy - Please read

6. Responding to allegations against Employees policies and procedures - Please read

7. Allegations against Employees in the area of child protection - Please read

8. External Provider Agreement

9. Child Protection Training

Therapy is not to commence until therapists have received an email approving the request.

This process is to be completed at the beginning of each school year.
