Community involvement
Our school values strong partnerships with our families and community. Parents and carers can get involved through our Parents and Citizens Association (P&C) or by volunteering at our school. Your time and support help make our school a better place for everyone.
Parents and Citizens Association (P&C)
Our P&C is a group of parents, carers and school community members. They assist with school planning, fundraising, events and volunteering. Our P&C works in partnership with our school to promote the interests of our school community.
Joining the P&C a great way to meet other families, get involved and contribute to our school's future. We would love to have you on board! Come along to one of our meetings and join, children are welcome.
P&C meetings
Our P&C meetings are held at 5:30pm, in the school staff room, on the 3rd Monday of the month.
P&C Annual General Meeting (AGM) is held on the first meeting of the year, 3rd Monday of February.

In 2025 our P&C has contributed the following:
- Uniform Shop
- Applied and approved grants for improvement to school facilities
- Easter raffle
- Mother’s and Father’s Day stalls
- Christmas raffle
- Christmas concert stalls and food vendors
- Election BBQ
- Open day BBQ
- Cake Stalls
- Assisted at school events – Transition to School, Open Day, Colour Run, Christmas Concert
- Organised coffee van for school events
- Assisted at Zone athletics carnival – preparation and provision of snack packs to staff and student helpers
- Donated book prizes for best costume at the Book Parade
- Donated funds for buses to Athletics carnival and swim school
- Chocolate Box fundraiser
- Donated ice blocks to the students for helping sell chocolate boxes
- Donated the prizes to the top 3 sellers of the chocolate boxes
- Donated bread for breakfast club
- Organised gifts for School Support staff appreciation day
- Organised gifts for World Teacher’s day
- Community consultation for change the school uniform polo shirt material
Volunteer at our school
Helping out at school is a great way to get involved in your school community.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Supporting students at Homework Club
- Volunteering with Breakfast Club
- Volunteering on sports days and school events
- Assisting with fundraising opportunities
