We work together to promote positive outcomes for all students and ensure that they are central to everything we do.
Welcome from our principal
Welcome to Bligh Park Public School - an inclusive school community where everyone aspires to reach their full potential.
It is a privilege to lead a school where every student is valued for their uniqueness, and where our dedicated staff seek to provide opportunities that develop students both academically and beyond the classroom. Our moral purpose is that every child should succeed, and that is reinforced with quality academic programs that focus on explicit teaching, building a strong foundation of literacy and numeracy skills in every learner. Our dedicated staff are committed to lifelong learning, engaging in professional development which becomes embedded in their classroom practice to support students to develop the ability to persist, enquire, focus and reflect upon their learning.
Beyond the classroom, our staff provide opportunities for students to discover and develop their talent in a range of extra-curricular programs. We pride ourselves on igniting passion in young minds across a wide range of activities, including student leadership, sport, debating, chess, public speaking, dance, music, or by joining one of the fantastic lunchtime clubs on offer. At Bligh Park, we celebrate the successes of our students in all aspects of school life.
We strive to build strong relationships between home and schools, with students at the forefront of all decision making. The whole school community demonstrates aspirational expectations of learning progress and achievement for all students and is committed to the pursuit of excellence. Through our partnerships with the B Kinder Foundation and The Resilience Project, we are committed to fostering a sense of belonging and connection through positive, respectful relationships that promote student and staff wellbeing.
As you take the time to explore our website showcasing how wonderful our school and community is, I welcome you to reach out to the school and join us on our learning for life journey.
