Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
100 Days of Learning
Our K-2 students marked a major milestone — 100 days of learning in 2025! Our playground was filled with giggles, grey wigs, walking sticks, suspenders, glasses, and plenty of wrinkles as students came to school dressed as if they were 100 years old! It was great to see our mini ”100 year olds" proudly parading around the playground in their creative costumes.
Allowah Day
Allowah Day is organised by the Hawkesbury AECG, with the team at Merana and National Parks, to provide an enriching experience for young Indigenous students to connect to country who may never have the opportunity to do so. It takes place at Yellomundee Regional Park, which is a sacred site.
Education Week Open day
We were excited to welcome families to join us again this year for open classrooms and a picnic lunch. This year, the theme was 'Ignite your potential' aligned to the NSW Plan for Public Education focus on High Potential and Gifted Education.
