Allowah Day

Location: Yellomundee Regional Park

On Friday 16 May, Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students in Years 3-6 will have the opportunity to attend the Allowah Day excursion at Yellomundee Regional Park, exploring Shaws Creek Aboriginal Place . There will be a variety of activities throughout the day including a traditional smoking ceremony, cultural talks, an art activity, sport workshop and caring for Country tree planting. This excursion is free of charge as the cost is covered by school funding.

Walk Safely to School

We are taking it in our stride on Friday 16 May 2025 National Walk Safely to School Day is next week on Friday, 16 May 2025. This is a community initiative that aims to raise awareness of the health, road safety, transport, and environmental benefits that regular walking (especially to and from school) can provide for the long-term well-being of our children. We look forward to seeing our students walking through the gates on Friday, 16 May.

Hawkesbury PSSA Zone Cross Country

Location: Hawkesbury Showground, Clarendon

Congratulations, your child has been selected to represent Bligh Park Public School at the Hawkesbury PSSA Zone Cross Country. This event will be held on Friday 23rd May 2025, at Hawkesbury Showground, Clarendon. Parents/caregivers must complete an online permission form through the Dash Platform to consent for this trial. Information on how to create a Dash account and register can be found on the sheet sent home. The online permission form is due by Wednesday 21st May 2025. Due to rising costs, the school will be subsidising a portion of the event cost to keep it the same price as last year as this is a high demand event that provides valuable opportunities for our students. Cost per student: $22.00
